Some of the "All Programs" menu icons are not showing the icons they should be. Actually, they're showing the "default" unidentified icon images. Only .exe's and .html files are broken and it seems on random app's/.html files.

I have many programs/.html files where they display the correct icons.

I have made attempts to correct this issue via IconPackager. I've loaded the default XP icons, repaired the cache, icon images, Shell icons with no change what-so-ever.

Any assistance is hugely appreciated!

Try opening IP, going to the Tools menu & selecting "Rebuild Icon Cache". Then load and apply (in that order - 'Load' then 'Apply') your icon package again.

Post back if that doesn't fix it.

recap:

1) "Rebuild Icon Cache"
2) "Load"
3) "Apply"

Thanks, but no go. Just like the countless other attempts before posting this.

Any other suggestion would be appreciated.

Sorry - saw "repair" in you initial post, not "rebuild".

Hmm...

Have you tried loading and applying a different icon set? Then loading & applying the MS default set?

If you have, or neither works, have you tried repairing the icons using TweakUI? (Would be sure to switch to the MS default set first using IP).

After that, I'm pretty much out of ideas.

Tried the rebuild Icons through Tweak UI but it didn't correct the issue.

Thanks for trying.

Bummer. There has to be a way to get 'em back short of a reformat.

I'd go ahead & submit a tech support request to stardock & see what they suggest. Be patient & be sure to reply to the initial response to get it reviewed by a tech on the second pass (it will all be explained in the initial autoreply).
